General information only

This website, its articles, the newsletter, book-related materials and the general resources here are published to share what we have learned about cofounder partnerships and entrepreneurship. They are educational and general in nature.

General information cannot take account of your particular facts. Your team, your agreements, your stage and the laws where you operate all matter. Nothing here is a substitute for advice that is based on your own situation.

Not legal, financial, tax or professional advice

Nothing on this website is legal, financial, accounting, tax, investment, employment, medical, psychological or mental-health advice.

If a decision involves any of those areas, please speak with a qualified professional who can review your circumstances before you act.

Cofounder Discovery

Cofounder Discovery is a private, structured cofounder-partnership assessment for existing teams of two or three founders.

It is not a personality test, therapy, counselling, mediation or a diagnostic service. It does not predict whether a partnership or a business will succeed.

It cannot guarantee that founders will be aligned, prevent conflict, or guarantee a successful outcome. It is a starting point for better conversations.

Each founder decides for themselves what they want to discuss with their team and what they choose to act on.

No professional relationship

Using this website, reading the content, joining the newsletter, applying for a pilot, completing a form, buying the book or using the general resources does not by itself create a lawyer-client, accountant-client, therapist-client, coach-client, fiduciary or other professional relationship.

Any paid or advisory engagement would need a separate written agreement that both sides sign.

Your decisions and your business

You are responsible for judging whether anything here fits your situation, and for the business, partnership, governance, equity, hiring, financing and exit decisions you make.

Where a decision matters, write your agreements down and get independent advice from people who know your specific facts.

Accuracy and changes

We work to keep this website useful and current. Even so, we cannot promise that every part of it is complete, free of errors or suitable for every team.

Content, services, pilot details, prices, availability, deadlines and links can change. Please check anything important, and confirm current details, before you rely on it.

Book, articles and examples

The examples, scenarios and practical tools in the book and in the articles are general illustrations. They often simplify situations that are more complicated in real life.

Any story or case example describes one situation. It is not a promise that another founder or team will get the same result.

Testimonials and outcomes

Experiences differ from team to team. Where testimonials, reviews or statements about results appear, they describe individual experiences.

They are not a guarantee of typical or future outcomes, and they should not be read as a prediction of what will happen for you.
